Sevilla win Europa League

Sevilla defeated Inter Milan to win their sixth Europa League title more than any other club in the history of the competition.

Lukaku opened the scoring for Inter with a penalty but soon the advantage was broken by two Lukk de Jong headers. Inter then equalized through veteran defender Diego Godin but Lukaku’s own goal in the second half was enough to take Sevilla through full time.

It was the last match of Sevilla’s Ever Banega who ended his career with a European trophy.

Julen Lopetegui who was sacked by Real Madrid after just fourteen matches proved that he is still the tactical genius he was earlier considered.
