When will UCL resume

The UEFA champions league and the UEFA Europa league is set to return in August. However, there have been no mentions of the dates by the governing body. The competitions still have the knockout stages pending with the finals to be re located. The UEFA body has held several meeting to discuss on these issues.

There were rumors that the matches could be played behind closed doors in empty stadiums, but that would still take a couple of more months.

Along with the European leagues the domestic leagues have also come to a standstill. Some experts have suggested to decrease the number of fixtures by suspending some matches. This could certainly be a way out but how the clubs react to this is not predictable especially those in the relegation battle.
