Class X and XII board exams cancelled
The central government has informed the supreme court of India that it has cancelled all the CBSE Class X and XII examinations. They were scheduled to be held between 1st and 15th July.
The centre said that Class X students will not have the exams at all and will be given marks on the previous performances. However, class XII students are provided with an option to appear for the exam or to skip it.
Those students who will opt to give the exam can give once the conditions are suitable to do so. Those who won’t opt for the exams will be given marks based on their performances in the previous three examinations. Center has given SC the authority to judge the right time for conducting the examinations.
