Messi hand’s transfer request

Messi has handed a transfer request to Barcelona after Barcelona were defeated by Bayern Munich in the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League. Messi is said to be upset with the club’s hierarchy and recent transfer decisions. Manchester City could be a team best suited for him, as it would mean a reunion with his former manager Pep Guardiola. However, Manchester United and PSG are believed to have the financial power to sign the Argentine.

Thiago Silva set to join Chelsea

Chelsea have almost completed signing 35-year-old veteran defender Thiago Silva from PSG. The Brazilian although nearing the end of his career has a lot to give. PSG reached the final of UCL this season and Silva had a major role in fortifying their back line. However, PSG were beaten by Bayern Munich.

James Rodriguez could move to Everton

Reports have claimed that Colombian international James Rodriguez is close to sign for Everton. Everton had placed a bid for out of favored James which Real Madrid have accepted reportedly. Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti had coached him at Real earlier. The move would not be a surprise as he wasn’t favored by Zinedine Zidane. So, his move to the Premier League side could only mean good for both the parties.
