Lionel Messi has scored his 700th career goal as Barcelona drew 2-2 with Atletico Madrid. He joins Cristiano Ronaldo as the other active player to reach the milestone. However, it took 112 matches less for the Argentine to reach the mark. Messi has scored 630 goals in 723 matches for Barcelona and 70 in 138 appearances for Argentina.

Jadon Sancho has agreed a five-year deal with Manchester United which will see him earn £140,000 per week initially and rise to £200,000 over time. Mandzukic leaves Qatar just after six months

Former Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic has terminated his contract with Al-Duhail. The 34-year old Croatian had signed for them in January. Mandzukic announced on Twitter that he had cut short his deal by mutual consent, adding: “I appreciate the trust and hospitality that I have received in Qatar and I wish the best to the club and the team in the future.”
