India loses ODI series with Australia
Australia completely outplayed India in second ODI by defeating Indian side by 51 runs in three match series at the Sydney ground. The hosts took a lead of 2-0 in the series, following their victory in the first ODI.
After winning the toss Australia choose to bat and scored 389 runs for the loss of four wickets. Steve Smith scored his 11th century making it two consecutive centuries in the series.
Indian bowlers suffered once again to take wickets which helped David Warner, Glenn Maxwell, Marnus Labuschagne and Aaron Finch hit half-centuries.
Virat Kohli was the highest run-getter for Team India, smashing 89 runs off 87 deliveries. KL Rahul was the second top run-scorer, hitting 76 runs off 66 balls.
Pat Cummins was the pick of the bowlers, accounting for three wickets. Josh Hazlewood and Adam Zampa completed two dismissals apiece.
