Fare structure that government has proposed for domestic flights in India

As early today government took a decision to start domestic flights in India, it also proposed a Fare structure (7 classes) to assure no excess money would be taken from passengers and all airlines are bounded to follow these guidelines.

Class A is Flight which requires less than 40 minutes to reach the destination can be charged min 2000 and maximum 6000.

Class B is Flight which requires 40-60 Minutes can be charged min. 2500 & max. 7500.

Class C is Flight which requires 60-90 Minutes can be charged min. 3000 & max. 9000.

Class D is Flight which requires 90-120 Minutes can be charged min. 3500 & max. 10000.

Class E is Flight which requires 120-150, Minutes can be charged min. 4500 & max. 13000.

Class F is Flight which requires 150-180, Minutes can be charged min. 5500 & max. 15700.

Class G is Flight which requires 180-210, Minutes can be charged min. 6500 & max. 18600.

No passengers should pay more than the set limit, the DGCA said.
