These two provided diagrams give us information about how cement is made and illustrate how cement is used to make concrete.

Overall, both of processes have differences in equipments that they need and similar thing that I can see is the complexity of manufacturing.

In the cement production we see that the beginning of process starts with crushing limestone and clay combination. Secondly, the powder goes into the mixer and goes down the mechanism. Finally, the product is polished into cement with grinder’s help. Then, after all processes the finished cement is packed in bags.

Concrete production,that we can see in the second diagram,needs cement(15%) and other materials like water(10%), sand(15%), and gravel(50%). Then, to get concrete we must to mix all of these elements in concrete mixer.
