Permanent Makeup Pigments — craft_pigment

About the Project:
A new Ukrainian-made brand producing pigments for permanent makeup artists.
The project was launched from scratch — the client had neither an Instagram page nor an ad account.
I worked on this project alongside an SMM team, with my responsibility focused on traffic.
Monthly ad budget: $250

Goal:

Generate inquiries and product sales.

Work Done:

My first step was to create a Business Manager and set up the ad account.
When attempting to link a payment card, the ad account was blocked — a common issue that sometimes occurs.

After contacting Meta support, the first ad account could not be recovered.
A second ad account was created, but it was also blocked within two days of active advertising.

Following Meta support’s advice, the client opened a new bank card at a different bank.
We then purchased a new Business Manager, as Facebook limits each account to two business accounts.
This resolved the issue with account bans.

I began by running campaigns via Instagram's “Boost” button with the Traffic objective to promote posts.
One of the first campaigns was a giveaway of 15 gifts — the goal was to build an initial audience for a completely new Instagram page.

The main ad campaign was launched with the "Direct Message" objective.
I used two audience targeting variations, both showing similar performance.

Throughout the entire collaboration, we consistently received DMs and comments from potential buyers.
However, we encountered a major issue common to many early-stage projects:
poor communication with leads in DMs, which negatively impacted sales, even though regular recommendations were provided.
