"Case Luise": 75 knife wounds led to the death of a German schoolgirl
The terrible murder of a 12-year-old schoolgirl from Germany was not even a month ago - now new details about the act are known, as German media reports.
Presumably on March 11 of this year, the schoolgirl from Freudenberg in North Rhine-Westphalia was killed by two of her classmates (12, 13) and then buried in a nearby wooded area.
She was found there early on Sunday morning, March 12, after a search operation initiated the previous day. Accordingly, police dog handlers found the girl's body and informed the other units.
On the same day, the death of the 12-year-old was publicly announced and the public prosecutor ordered an autopsy. This quickly revealed that the child was killed by several stab wounds - initially, however, 32 stabs had been mentioned.
Now new details are known. According to the public prosecutor's office, the student died from a total of 75 stab wounds, as reported by the German media on Monday.
The motives of the two alleged perpetrators are still unknown. The 12 and 13-year-old girls cannot be punished because of their age; they would have to be at least 14 years old to be prosecuted in Germany. According to information from AP, they and their families have moved away from their previous place of residence.
