Zaha Hadid’s Al Wakrah Stadium, Qatar

Al Wakrah Stadium Qatar is one of the eight venues for the FIFA World Cup 2022. It was inaugurated on 16th May 2019 with the final match of the Amir Cup between Al-Duhail and Al Sadd.

Late Zaha Hadid designed this stadium in such a way that football can be played in a stadium at any time of the year. Keeping in mind the hot summer weather in Qatar.
