Working at the logistics department I take care of the transportation and storage of products or materials, this includes administrative tasks and also manual labor. I am in permanent contact with Warehouse, Production, Sales, Purchasing, Support and with Logistics companies. My responsibilities involve managing and organizing stocks, handling incoming raw materials, and processing outgoing orders. Additionally, I am responsible for preparing exportation documentation, ensuring compliance with diverse transport regulations and laws for different destinations.
I am very proud of being part of a company who is building the future and I can see it in the first row and in real time. In logistics we work a little bit like a gare: it never stops. Any pause would disrupt production, leaving teams without essential materials or clients without their orders.
My colleagues are my friends and my family, literally. As I came from a completely different area, I have to thank Ciprian, my boss, that he was patient enough to share his knowledge and to guide me. Even though we all have our tasks, our work is very fluid, we need to be able to change and to adapt fast, as the situation is demanding. This means that we need to help each other. We also eat cake and laugh and joke together.
As Cip says our work is based on choosing between the urgent and top urgent. I like that it's not boring. This work it's like a spider net of many many things.
I find fulfillment in my role, and what initially caused stress has transformed into a series of challenges that I enthusiastically tackle.
Outside of work, I indulge in my passion for travel, exploring new cultures, new places and visiting dear friends. I enjoy outdoor activities, a small tour of Luxembourg by bike with my husband and friends is the best way of spending the weekend.
I feel very lucky living in Luxembourg for several reasons: the first one is that a big part of my family is here. I was born in Romania, I lived abroad for 22 years, for more than 8 years in Luxembourg now.
This country values its citizens and it feels good. I like that the administration is making it simple, when possible. It took me a 15 minute appointment to change my driver license, I was impressed.
I also like the infrastructure and that there are so many bike roads and possibilities to enjoy nature here.
The tastes can be very different and what calls me doesn’t say anything to you. Maybe, one book from Sir David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D. developer of the map of Consciousness I can recommend to read.
Cats. They are very flexible, very elegant. I think we can learn from them how to be relaxed and focused at the same time.
2/ If you would like to pick up any famous person to have a drink in a bar, who would it be?
Dalai Lama - I could learn from his wisdom and how to emerge in deep peace.
3/ If not working in logistics, what would you like to do?
I would probably work something in the psychologists area, therapists, specializing in traumas.
