Tushar Pandey

Digital Transformation Director
More than 2 years in Artec 3D
Luxembourg office

I began my journey at Artec 3D as an enterprise program manager, initially tasked with deploying ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. Over the next year and a half, my role expanded to lead the digital transformation efforts within the organization.

As we transitioned from a startup to a midsize company, there was a notable shift towards implementing regulations, controls, and structured processes from a management perspective. This included defining standard operating procedures and integrating applications to establish robust process and business governance. So I'm looking after the business application landscape and then I'm deploying piece by piece, part by part.

My work is an ongoing evolution. Currently, we are refining our systems, optimizing solutions, and addressing edge cases. Ultimately, our goal is to establish a corporate PMO (Project Management Office) with a standardized structure for comprehensive cost analysis, project oversight, team coordination, and centralized reporting across all functions — administrative operations, project management, development, and research.

I collaborate closely with Alexandr Osipov, my direct supervisor, who provides strategic guidance. Together, we are developing a corporate PMO with a unified methodology cascading throughout the organization. This endeavor is supported by Anastasia Khaytul, Egor Zabralov, and Artyom Yukhin, reflecting a shared vision that acknowledges the journey's long-term nature.

Sometimes my job is like holding a hot potato — managing expectations between leadership, employees, and the workflow itself. I prioritize optimizing user experiences while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction with our investments. This dynamic role challenges me personally but also allows for creative problem-solving and learning.

But I do love all of this.. Here I’m allowed to learn different aspects of businesses. That gives me the sense of understanding towards the company and how we operated and why we did so and what was the need. And then I started looking into it. So that kind of also helped me a lot. And I love it as my job, making new connections. So I have an accountability for the budget, the timeline, and the resources, but I have the ability to manage it at my own pace.

My daughter and I love piano. I self-taught myself playing it and I listened to the musician Yanni. He's a Greek musician, lives in California now. Had been my idol for years and there's a special track called If I Could Tell You. I recommend you to listen just once and you will fall in love with that track. I've been listening to it for the past almost 20 years every day without a miss. It's one of the things I listen to in the morning. And most of the time that I think about is how grateful I am in my life.

Previously, online gaming served as my outlet for relaxation and stress relief. However, since becoming a father nearly 21 months ago, my focus has shifted entirely towards cherishing moments with my daughter—whether it's dropping her off to kindergarten in the morning, playing together, or enjoying family time in the evening.

Personally, sometimes when I get the time on the weekend, I still love to play online. Dota 2 or some other Steam games. And I’m a huge fan of the Assassin's Creed series.

I always listen to Simon Sinek a lot because he talks about leadership in real life.

Living in Luxembourg, initially a challenging adjustment from bustling cities like Munich, I've come to appreciate its multiculturalism and inclusivity, making it a place I proudly call home and wish to raise my family, because it’s a pretty cool option for you to have your kid.
Despite the positive aspects, I occasionally find frustration in the limited and often superficial local news coverage, particularly regarding economic realities that impact our daily lives.
Nonetheless, I remain grateful for the opportunities and experiences that shape my personal and professional journey.

1/ What kind of book you will take with you on the desert island:

It's called Yanni in Words. It's a book that I can read as many times without getting bored. It's simply because I connect with so many things from his life. And if it’s allowed to pick more than one, it would be a biography of the mathematician John Nash.

2/ Cats or dogs?

Dogs. In India, as a kid growing up, we had quite a lot of dogs right in our family. They're happy when you come home, they're waiting for you. And you can play with them all day long. Low expectation management!

3/ If you had an opportunity to switch for another's job in Artec 3D what or who would you pick up?

Probably it would be Art, because it’s interesting to know all the CEO mindset and work-related challenges.
