Writing Courses

Writing Courses are intended to equip students with the ability to express themselves as thought leaders and to write distinctive papers that set them apart from other students. Writing Courses offer advanced writing skills and an increased understanding of academic and professional papers. Writing Courses are typically designed to satisfy three major needs of students who wish to take the examination for the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, or Marketing. The three requirements that these courses fulfill are a course satisfies the General Education Development (GE), a course satisfies the Specialization in Accounting, or a course satisfies the General Business Knowledge (BKK) requirement. In order to satisfy the General Education Development (GE) requirement, a Writing Courses course must include classes such as Introductory Business Writing, Fundamentals of Writing, Business Essentials, Introduction to Data Analysis, Principles of Organization and Management, Analysis for Financial Year, and Analysis for Technical and Financial Processes. Therefore, if your high school English courses did not suffice to satisfy these requirements you should take GE; if your high school English courses failed to satisfy the Specialization in Accounting requirement, you should take APA courses in business accounting.

Writing Courses help students acquire various writing and communication skills. Writing Courses are designed to help students in developing and improving academic writing, analytical and communication skills, interpersonal skills, research methodology, and creative writing. Many colleges offer online English classes and writing courses. These Writing Courses are an integral part of the college education; therefore, the content and tone of these Writing Courses are determined by the requirements of the college.

Writing Courses are classified according to the number of required topics, number of units, writing style, number of texts, and the length of the course. Writing Courses have two types - the structure of units and the topic of units. The structure of units is commonly grouped into five-page semesters.
