Supervisor Training
The collective Leadership and Supervisory Training is a 21-hour program to deeply deepen the core supervisory practices which support overall workplace performance and growth for those affected by the correctional system. Supervisors will also enhance their ability to communicate performance expectations and feedback and improving the workers' ability to report correct or incorrect performance. This training improves supervisors' basic skills and helps increase their confidence in their ability to lead. The training not only teaches supervisors how to perform their jobs better, but it also builds a supervisor's core leadership skills.
One of the most effective ways to promote better supervision and control is through Leadership and Supervisory Training. A solid supervisor has a clear understanding of his or her management role and knows how to effectively lead the team. Good leaders develop positive leadership qualities such as assertive self-confidence, self-discipline, and respect for subordinates.
