Access to computers has increased significantly in this decade, and numerous children throughout the world have been spending innumerable time on the video games. This essay will attempt to highlight some negative and positive aspects it posses and discuss ways to avoid the potential negative effects.

With regards to the positive effects, playing video games can enhance killing skills for children. For instance, if a child played games, such as, CS or Warface, he or she would be able improve their shooting and stealth skills. Furthermore, in poor and criminal areas this skills are paramount, and parents may not be worried about their offsprings because their descendants have shooting skills. Such experience will be beneficial to a child’s progression into an adult.

A conflicting viewpoint is that number of visually impaired children has increased significantly because children have been spending a lot of time to computer games since their birth. For example, the number of children who wear glasses is much more than in the past decade. Moreover, the vast majority of children continue to disfigure their faces wearing glasses in public places.

In order to minimize these negative impacts, children should train eyesight and spent less time on computer games. In addition, parents can also set limits on the duration of the game. Undoubtedly, children have been overestimating their health since their birth. it is justifiable to say that, if children continue to devote much time to video games, their life will be significantly worse.

In conclusion, this essay acknowledges that spending innumerable time to video games has some positive and negative aspects and I have provided ways to avoid the negative effects. I hope people will stick to my decision.
