Writing task 1 about Grange park.
These plans illustrate the Grange park at 2 different periods(1920,when it was first opened, and the present).
Overall, the park came through a lot of significiant changes, and it became almost unrecognizable in terms of decor and other such objects since the openning. However it is not changed in size. But facilities in there became bigger and more atrractive.
In 1920, it was a simple park with big amount of greenery and fountain in the center. Also there was entertaining entity such as stage for musicians, who may have played on holydays, and seats nearby for audience. The stage was surrounded on both sides with two rose gardens, and also seats near at them. In addition, if you went from side of Eldon street, and turn right you could see glasshouse, pond for water plants, and one more rose garden.
Currently, plan has changed totally. In place of fountain, one rose garden square was built, and on the sides of this seats were installed. Also, stage for musicians, became bigger, and called amphitheatre for concerts. Futhermore, glasshouse there was replaced by water feature. Not far from this, entrance underground car park has appeared. Moreover, we can notice that the pond for water plants and the rose garden were replaced by a children's play area and cafe, respectively.
