Map comparision (Ryemonth)

This maps describes the changes in the Ryemonth village in two different periods(1995 and the present).

Overall, Ryemonth lived through many significant changes in infrastructure. In addition, housing and other facilities have appeared, what means that tourism was developed in this area.

In 1995, Ryemonth was a little port by a sea. There was a small fishing port and fish market, which proves that this place developed thanks to fishing. Moreover, we can note the farmland, what is evidenced that they were engaged in agriculture. Also we should mention that there was a little forest park near the farmland.

However, in the present infrastructure of this village completly changed over the period given. For example, fishing port and market were replaced by apartments and restoraunts. Futhermore, instead of farmland and forest park, there was built golf course and tennıs court. In addition, housing became bigger. Also, you can see a cafe near the hotel which was not in 1995. From all this we can conclude that, currently tourism in this area has become the main economy.
