Does Google work on its own Android emulator for PC?

The team that has been behind the creation of LeapDroid, an Android emulator designed to run the PC that made its official appearance during the month of June, has announced that they will join the Google guys . There is no doubt that this is great news, although unfortunately it does not come alone, since this means that said emulator will no longer continue its development.

The team wanted to emphasize that LeapDroid itself is not linked to Google, so this is not a full acquisition of the company behind that emulator. Rather, it could be said that Google was interested in hiring the team behind the software .
Therefore, if you are one of the users who already have LeapDroid installed on your PC, you can still continue to run it without any problem , but it should be noted that no more official updates will arrive for the emulator from now on. Be that as it may, LeapDroid is a very solid emulator that works quite correctly and only has some specific errors that do not affect its normal operation.

LeapDroid developers also wanted to add the following:

”We want to personally thank the amazing community of Android developers and users who have inspired us from day one . We've been so proud to develop LeapDroid, and we can't wait to show you more about what we're going to be working with with Google. ”
At the moment, we are not sure what Google's intentions are when joining this new work team , as the Android Authority guys point out, so we will have to be attentive to know new details about it. Will Google be working on its own Android emulator for PC?
