Analytics & Insights Senior Manager / Pfizer
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will be responsible for setting and delivering the short and medium-term analytic priorities and providing day-to-day management for a team of colleagues. Represent Customer Analytics in country and interface with local country commercial leadership to provide data driven guidance. Be accountable for continuous improvement and utilization of new capabilities to maximize the competitive advantages of the business.
Market Analytics:
- Provide Analytic support in the market and interfacing with country commercial teams to provide data driven strategic guidance.
- In partnership with country stakeholders, recommend, define and implement analytics plans that generate insights and influence business priorities and objectives.
- Lead customer/omni-channel analysis and consultation to proactively provide deep insights that drive and maximize business opportunities, including segmentation, customer journey development, data mining, workshopping insights into actions. Collaborate closely with marketing and Customer Experience teams in this context and lead forums to analyze and discuss results with country leadership.
- Understand the key healthcare systems, data sources, and ability to merge those data sources in a meaningful way with Pfizer and other external data sources.
- Support the analysis and commercial assessment of any commercial opportunities as necessary and provide support to Commercial Excellence Leader where appropriate.
- Support commercial model transformation and evolution of our digital and multi-channel capabilities through focused analytics support including: development of customer journeys, high quality analytics and performance tracking.
- Act as strategic partner to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions related to the identification and evaluation of commercial strategies and tactics.
Forecasting/Operating Plan Support:
- In partnership with key Pfizer stakeholders, drive the development of LRF, operating plans and LE reviews. Regular review and enhancement of plans and performance.
- Ensure effective performance measurement and deliver regular assessments of portfolio performance to leadership. Ensure accuracy of the reports and clear articulation of the data and its meaning for the business.
- Understand the key healthcare systems, data sources, and ability to merge those data sources in a meaningful way with Pfizer and other external data sources.
- Inform and guide commercial resource allocation, including field force.
Vendor/Offshore Resource Management:
- Develop, commission and contract projects through preferred vendors.
- Evaluate local vendors to be included into global preferred vendors list.
- Accountable for meeting compliance and Corporate SOP obligations of all PMR projects.
- Manage budgets associated with assigned activities.
- Direct workload of flexible resources.
- Be accountable for continuous improvement and identification/utilization of new capabilities to maximize the competitive advantages of the business.
Collaboration with other Analytical teams:
- Partner with other Customer Analytics teams and others to adapt global strategies to the local markets.
- Actively seek to share knowledge and expertise with other colleagues making use of knowledge sharing platform.
- Alignment with other CA teams (CoEs/other Country teams) to ensure cohesive activities with our stakeholders.

- Direct the work of members of the team and support them in delivering their tasks and projects effectively.

- Develop and maintain processes, tools, and training to support colleagues to ensure professional development and advancement.

PROFESIONAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Technical Skills:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Understands quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. Extensive experience in management of secondary data. Knowledgeable about study design and able to assess vendor technical capabilities.
- Proven ability to connect, integrate and synthesize analysis and data into a meaningful ‘so what’ to drive concrete strategic recommendations and enable commercial decision making. Capable of describing relevant caveats in data or in a model and how they relate to business question.
- Expertise in the field of customer/omni-channel analytics.
- Previous demonstrated experience in monitoring, simulating and analyzing complex data sets.
- Previous demonstrated experience of forecasting revenues.
- Ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands and deal with ambiguity.
- Strong team player, experienced with leading without authority in complex matrix environments, gained through exposure to multi-cultural teams.
- Proven ability to act as a strategic consultant partnering with commercial/marketing clients. Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly and effectively communicate the business relevance of technical subject matter.
- Previous demonstrated Business / Financial acumen.
