Survival of the filthiest

When someone asks you why good people are not joining politics, there are a thousand reasons. But this one reason will blow you off. Politics means joining a party or launching a new one. Good people destroy the party they join. Good people in politics is the story of moth and flame. Either they become moth or they extinguish the flame after being burnt. Have you seen any part anywhere in the world with good or qualified people?

Being in Politics means you survive on a daily basis from the pressure of party, people you represent, your own private army of people and the fear of being dislodged. It needs a lot of maneuvering and armour-plated with the ideology of sucking to power.

India have seen technocrats and economists (with no political backgrounds) who have been highly successful to the country at a very heavy cost to the party they serve. Manmohan Singh is the best example. When he left, the party was in tatters.

Neither they follow the footsteps of party’s Brahma or they know the role of Vishnu. But they hardly realize that by the time their tenure is over, they become Shiva minus the power to recreate what they destroyed. And they cannot be blamed.

People are now realizing how MMS sustained the Indian economy but his party, #Congress paid a heavy price for it. The party is almost non-existent now. The next incumbent to Congress was also a person who was not fit in politics.

But see how politicians with no knowledge of economics or technology are governing. They are hard core politicians so ruthless that your knowledge and you can be burst into smithereens within no time. They can go to any extend just to survive in politics.

Today the world is more interested in drama. So there are actors all around doing what they know the best. Their histrionics interests most people. They consider this as the reservoir of knowledge that can boost their daily life

The result is for all of us to see. There is plain talk happening and no real development on the ground. Above that the environmental degradation of this earth is happening faster than you can imagine. Our next generation will die just by not having enough oxygen to inhale
