Twenty-ninth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis

On August 4 of this year, the twenty-ninth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan began its work. It was attended by members of the Senate, Government, representatives of ministries and departments, members of the Youth Parliament under the Senate, as well as media workers.

The plenary session, held in the form of video conferencing, was led by the chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva.

At the next plenary session, the laws “On approval of the housing code of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, “On public debt”, “On amendments to the Family Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan” were considered.

Also, the plenary session discussed the laws “On amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the digitalization of the activities of the courts” and “On amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

Also, the senators discussed the information of the director of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan about the national report on the fight against corruption in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that the Senators considered 7 issues, including 6 laws, during the first working day of the plenary session.
