The next meeting of the Oliy Majlis Senate Council

On July 21 of this year, the next meeting of the Senate Council of the Oliy Majlis was held, in which the effectiveness of the work on creating new jobs and ensuring employment of the population was discussed in Bukhara, Jizzakh, Namangan and Fergana regions.

The meeting of the Council was led by the Chairman of the Senate Tanzila Narbayeva. It was attended by senators, relevant ministries and agencies, heads of state and non-state organizations, as well as mass media representatives.

As it was noted, as of May 1 of this year, with the support of labor authorities, a number of positive works have been carried out in Bukhara, Jizzakh, Namangan and Fergana regions in terms of employment and creation of new jobs. In particular, during this period, 52,200 citizens were employed in vacant positions.

In particular, about 7,500 job offers were given at the held job fairs. About 2,900 people in need of social protection were employed in reserved jobs.

Also, at the meeting, the introduction of mechanisms to encourage registration of jobs created in agricultural clusters, farmers' and peasant farms in tax reports, state registration of farms on land allocated for agriculture through auctions, business entities as employers in the implementation of paid public works, a number of tasks were set, such as broad involvement of non-governmental non-profit organizations.

The appropriate decision of the Senate Council was adopted on the considered issues.
