Regular meeting of the Senate commission on cooperation with the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea

On August 2 of this year, a regular meeting of the Commission of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis on cooperation with the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea was held, which discussed the implementation of “road maps” aimed at ensuring the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level with Korea.

At the meeting, which was held under the leadership of Tanzila Narbayeva, detailed information was heard from the heads of the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, the state committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection, the Association “Uztoqimaliksanoat”, the administration of the Jizzakh region and other organizations.

It should be noted that the meeting, which was rich in critical analysis, was delayed by the Ministry of Health to adopt the draft documents and the draft government decree on the equipment of regional medical institutions with medical equipment, the execution of tasks by the Ministry of energy to determine the directions of cooperation with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and energy of, it was noted that the tender for the identification of a foreign partner for the construction of domestic power plants on the basis of renewable energy sources was not completed on time.

Also at the meeting, it was noted that the Ministry of investments and foreign trade has not carried out enough work to coordinate the attraction of foreign investments and monitor their targeted use.

The issues of increasing the responsibility of the heads of ministries and departments were discussed, and the commission was instructed to provide timely and high-quality implementation of the tasks set in the “road maps”, eliminate the shortcomings and include information on the results.

Taking into account the comments and suggestions made at the end of the meeting, the relevant decision of the commission was adopted.
