Metal market of Central Asia: expectations from the conference

As previously reported, an international conference "Market of Central Asia" was held in Tashkent, with the participation of more than 100 representatives of metallurgical, metal trading and industrial companies.

During the first session, trends in the development of metallurgy in the world and in the countries of Central Asia were considered, in particular, the production and consumption of long, flat and pipe products in 2022-2023. and other important topics.

Then the conference participants discussed current trends and prospects for the development of the metals market in Central Asia, investment projects in metallurgy, metal trading and metal processing.

The representative of "Uzmetalsavdo" Dilshod Alijanov spoke about the development of warehouse trade.
"Uzmetallsavdo JSC provides services for warehousing goods for safekeeping, customs warehousing and clearance of various goods. There are two open and closed type customs warehouses on the territory of the metal depot, working both for export and import. The total area of ​​warehouses (open and closed type) is more than 150,000 square meters," he said.
