Touristic recreational zone "Charvak"

On February 1, 2022, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports held a press conference dedicated to the presentation of the project for the integrated development of Bostanlyk district. The event was opened by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Minister of Tourism and Sports, Director of the Directorate of "Charvak" TRZ Aziz Abdukhakimov.

The press conference was attended by Aziz Nagaev, First Deputy Director of the Charvak TRZ Directorate, Mansur Rakhmatullaev, Suna Park, Bobir Klichev, Head of the ARC Architecture Bureau and Project Architect, media representatives and sphere experts.

Aziz Abdukhakimov: Bostanlyk district has a high touristic, natural and recreational potential. Its proper development will lead to a number of important socio-economic, environmental and investment changes.
The President and the Government pays special attention to the development of Bostanlyk district.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted a number of decrees, like, Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 27, 2020 No. PD-6053 "On measures to accelerate the development of tourism through the introduction of a special regime of governance in Bostanlyk district" and Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PD-5273 "On the establishment of the touristic recreational zone" Charvak".

The main focus of the project is to preserve the unique natural potential of Bostanlyk. To this end, it is planned to create a stable system of eco-carcasses and public places in the areas of "Chorvoq darvozasi" (Charvak Gate) and "Yusufxona", to develop environmentally friendly transport. Traditional architecture is of grand magnitude. At the same time, the “Chorvoq darvozasi: Janubiy Xo’jakent” will create a modern image of a traditional mountain village.
