Press conference dedicated to the admission process at New Uzbekistan University

Today, on May 5, a press conference was held on the admission process of the New Uzbekistan University under the Presidential Agency for Educational Institutions. It was attended by the head of the Agency Hilola Umarova, honorary rector of the New Uzbekistan University Wolfgang Herrmann and members of the media. A press tour of the university building was also organized for the media.

At the press conference, the Agency and the university administration directly answered questions about the admission of documents to the University of "New Uzbekistan" and the faculties and directions.

Wolfgang Herrmann is the Honorary Rector of the University of New Uzbekistan, the 39th Rector of the Technical University of Munich (Germany), as well as the holder of more than 800 scientific articles and about 80 patents.

New Uzbekistan University gives the opportunity to study in the following areas:

• Industrial management
• Software
• Mechanical Engineering
• Nano and advanced materials engineering
• Chemical Engineering

During the 2021-2022 academic year, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Software were launched at the Faculty of Engineering at New Uzbekistan University.

In the 2022-2023 academic year, the university is developing two more areas - Nano and Advanced Materials Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Management within the Faculty of Management.

It is planned to enroll 300 students in these directions in the new academic year.

Examinations are held in each of the disciplines, including mathematics, physics, chemistry, and logical thinking.

Admission to the New Uzbekistan University began on April 25 and will last until June 20.
