Tashkent State University of Economics has organized a "Career Day"
The tasks set at the video conference chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on March 4, 2022 on the priorities of employment of students of higher educational institutions were adopted as a program and measures are being developed to implement these tasks.
In order to ensure the implementation of the decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Cabinet of Ministers, the university has developed specific measures for the employment of young people, and the tasks set out in it are being consistently implemented.
The University has started work on vocational guidance and employment of graduates of the 2021-2022 academic year, as well as the placement of willing and needy 1st-3rd year students, as well as comprehensive assistance to students in this regard. In this regard, the university administration, dean's office and departments are taking the necessary measures for the vocational guidance, placement and placement of graduates.
In particular, close contacts have been established with the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regional administrations on vocational guidance and employment of graduates of the 2021-2022 academic year.In order to systematically organize the work carried out at the University to ensure the integrated integration of higher education and science, to improve the quality of educational services, to train highly qualified personnel in line with modern needs of the labor market, to establish innovative-corporate cooperation with universities and industry On March 28, 2022, Tashkent State University of
Economics hosted an information and presentation event "Career Day".
The event was attended by heads and specialists of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Central Bank, commercial banks, as well as more than 100 companies and firms of various forms of ownership.
During the “Career Day” information event, information was provided on the number of graduates to the employing ministries, agencies, organizations and enterprises participating in the vacancies. In particular, the data on 2799 graduates of the university in the current 2021-2022 academic year (2132 undergraduates and 667 graduates) were presented to employers.
Currently, the Tashkent State University of Economics is training undergraduates in 26 fields of study and 34 master's degrees.
