Regular session of the Republican commission

The Senate of the Oliy Majlis held a meeting of the Republican commission on increasing the role of women in society, gender equality and family issues. The meeting was attended by members of the Republican and territorial Commission, representatives of ministries and departments, as well as the media.

Within the framework of the meeting, the report of the chairman of the state committee for family and women was heard on the progress of the implementation of the tasks set in the “Comprehensive Plan of measures aimed at implementing the national program for increasing the activity of women in all aspects of the country's economic, political and social life in 2022-2023”.

It was also criticized by the state committee for family and women that the program for the development of women's entrepreneurship in the regions has not been adopted to this day, the training of women leaders has not begun, the work on improving the housing conditions of women is slow, at the same time, insufficient attention is paid to the work

In addition, it was indicated that the work on the establishment of appropriate measures to study and eliminate the problems of women who carry out temporary labor activities abroad, who need to protect their rights and legitimate interests, promote the export of products produced by women entrepreneurs, attract financial resources of international financial institutions to support and develop women's entrepreneurship is slow.

Based on the discussions, by the end of the year, 100 promising women will be trained in the Academy of Public Administration for the purpose of preparing them for leadership positions and they will be included in the national personnel reserve. relevant assignments were given to the officials.
