How to re-assemble a 1911 pistol?

The Colt 1911 belongs to the list of formidable pistols in the whole world. If you pick it up and shoot, you shall never feel discomfort. Despite being old, it is a reliable handgun.

The US Army started issuing these pistols from the year 1911 to 1985. So, we shall look at how to reassemble this gun. It is not going to be a complicated process at all. But two traps might never help you to do the operation.

Firstly, the tension of the recoil spring seems to be a significant problem. Another trap is the idiot mark produced when you re-insert the slide in the wrong way.

What to do next?

You have to think of your self-esteem in the first place. Eliminate the idiot scratch if possible. It reduces the gun’s value, and that is a significant problem, though. The Colt’s Glock is undoubtedly one of the top guns to build

Begin with the slide assembly. Insert the slide into the barrel frame. You have to put the chamber end through the slide frame. After that, fit the spring support component by letting the tip into the receiver in the muzzle’s direction. Now take the entire slide assembly and perform the alignment.

Pressure the slide assembly into the cocked stance. Then, take care of installing the spring and barrel lock. Again, the slide has to be in the same position. If you wish to depress the retainer and spring, shift the spring retainer to the top. To hold the spring retainer, move the barrel retainer.

Finally, lock the barrel retainer. You can use the tool, or you don’t need it at all. So, the firearm is reassembled. Guns such as 1911 can be assembled without paving the way for any problems. Go to the range and try shooting the weapon.

While firing the gun in the yard, wear the necessary weapon unhurt yourself. Or else, you’re the one that is going to face trouble. Being one of the top guns to build, the Glock performs exceptionally well.
