The University of the Arts is using MAZE to teach students how to use the NFT!

About me

My name is Alexey. I adore blockchain technology and am a fan of the idea announced back in 2017 by the Bytom team.

"Our mission is to bridge the atomic world and the byte world, to build a decentralized network where various byte assets and atomic assets could be registered and exchanged”.

Since 2017, I have been closely following the development of the Bytom ecology. I try to tell people about the opportunities that Bytom implements based on its own blockchain. Twenty-four years ago I received my higher education from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Folk Crafts at Moscow State University. Since then I have been associated with art and design for all time. I reached the position of Art Director in a large Moscow company and after working in that position for over 10 years I realized that I wanted to develop myself in a completely new area. So I got interested in the blockchain industry. For several years I tried to understand my place in the new possibilities that blockchain opened for mankind. The blockchain was friendly for geeks, but it was a dark spot for people with a humanitarian background, which is where I belong. And now, in 2021, blockchain has created something completely unique. I'm talking about the NFT! Now blockchain technology has become friendly to creative people, who are eager to explore and use the pioneering NFT marketplace.

The NFT market

Watching the development of the NFT market, I see a huge interest in it. However, as always happens at the stage of market formation, there are many casual people who have nothing to do with art or other related fields. I'm sure that in time the market will form and become more professional and regulated. There will be serious mechanisms for monitoring copyright and checking the identity of the artists. My goal is to get as many people as possible professionally involved in art into the NFT market. Artists who received traditional classical education and created paintings in our physical world are almost not interested in electronic technologies because they never helped them to create. However, with the formation of the NFT market, the situation has changed dramatically. I want to draw the attention of traditional artists to the NFT market! This is the goal I have set for myself and it is with this goal in mind that I conduct a series of lectures about NFT and the MAZE platform.

MAZE (maz.network)

The Bytom team has created a really high-quality service and is constantly developing it. I can assert that Bytom is very attentive to all user requests and promptly upgrades MAZE. Talking to traditional artists I came across the fact that people have heard about Bitcoin but never used it and never even heard about other cryptocurrencies. 99% have never had a cryptocurrency wallet and don't know what blockchain is. For this reason I asked the Bytom team to launch a test version of the MAZE platform which is completely similar to the real platform. Now I use it to educate people unfamiliar with the NFT market. The fact is that when people start to get acquainted with the NFT market and cryptocurrencies, they are afraid of making a mistake and losing their money. Test MAZE, which I use in my classes, allows me to eliminate all people's fears for the training period. Very quickly, people understand the rules of work and switch to a real MAZE platform. This kind of training methodology is unique today and I consider it very productive. Cryptocurrencies in Russia are just beginning to receive legal status and work has already begun to regulate this market. I am confident in the timeliness of my speeches to the students, as soon they will be able to start working with cryptocurrencies on a fully legal basis.

My concept

Certainly I believe that all creative people should be aware of the existence of the NFT market and be able to take advantage of its tools.
However, I have deeper thoughts about it.
I want to introduce you to my concept of using the NFT marketplace for traditional Artists. I've heard the assertion that the NFT marketplace is exclusively for digital artists, I think that's a mistake. I justify my concept of involving traditional artists in the NFT market with the following formula:
In addition to our physical (made of atoms) world, a digital world (made of bytes) has emerged. I'm talking about meta-universes. Already now, I see how a company producing sneakers (for example) in addition to them produces NFT sneakers. Thus we see the beginning of duplication of all things into two worlds. When people get their own houses in the meta universes and want to hang real art on the wall. Then people will think of paintings created by people who are educated in art and work in a classical manner. The NFT market is full of a lot of bad art which was generated and is being generated by people who didn't have any creative goals. The Russian art school has a very rich history and has given the world a lot of brilliant artists. I think the digital world is worthy of NFT paintings in a classical style of painting or drawing that have their prototype in the real world.
I would like to draw your attention to the fact that NFT created on the basis of a painting actually present in the physical world is, in my opinion, an independent work, not a proof of ownership of a physical painting (although I consider this option probable as well).

Speech to the students of Moscow State University

On February 25 my first presentation to the students of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Folk Crafts of Moscow State University took place.

I spoke about blockchain technology and the NFT marketplace created on its basis. I told about the MAZE platform created by the Bytom blockchain project team and about the advantages of this platform. I acquainted the students with the interface of the platform and the tools available for creating NFT and trading. The speech lasted for about two hours. The NFT subject aroused great interest and a lot of questions. We created a Russian-speaking Telegram group for the students who were seriously interested in NFT career, in which we continued our communication. For a month, the students had been experimenting with the training version of the MAZE platform and achieved a certain success. In view of the many questions, I decided to hold another meeting devoted exclusively to practical exercises.

On 01.04.2022 the second meeting was held in the computer lab of the university. This event was entirely devoted to mastering the MAZE platform. All students registered on the MAZE test platform and applied for "Artist" status. Artist status entitles you to create NFTs. Having been quickly successful in their studies, students would move on to the real MAZE platform and apply what they learned to a real NFT marketplace. Right during the class, one of the students had a sale of his NFT painting.

This remarkable event happened very timely and proved the usefulness of the tool. This precedent instilled confidence in everyone at the class. I am very pleased with how these meetings went and look forward to an increased interest in the MAZE platform and the NFT market from art students. The faculty teaching staff was also very interested in the MAZE platform and I allow the relationship between MAZE and the faculty management to develop further. I plan to further promote MAZE among creative youth and professional, honored artists.

Teacher, Deputy Dean of E-Learning About me
Until recently I was quite skeptical about the subject of NFT, because I had no understanding - what it is and how I can use it.
When the opportunity arose to attend introductory lectures at our university, I gladly took advantage of the opportunity and did not regret it.
At the lectures we were told about the endless possibilities open to people who have devoted or are going to devote themselves to the art.
Very useful was the opportunity to participate in practice in the creation, purchase and sale of NFT on the test platform MAZE. MAZE was very friendly and intuitive.
MAZE's biggest advantage over other NFT marketplaces is that an artist can post their NFT collections - completely free!
This will allow many talented authors to declare themselves to the whole world and find fans of their creativity!
I want to express my gratitude to the Bytom team for their decision to present their platform at our art university.
For me, it opened up new perspectives for realizing my creative potential accumulated over decades.
It may sound pathos-filled - but life is divided into before and after.
And it's a change for the better.

About me
As a teenager with the discovery and acquisition of a graphics tablet, my childhood works on paper began to be embodied in digital. Subsequently I started to develop more in the field of digital painting on the part of developing images of characters, both original and interpretation of ready-made. In 6-7 years I have accumulated a lot of works which have gone "into the desk". But recently I have discovered the NFT market. It was a great opportunity to develop myself as a character designer and promote my projects to studios or companies. The Maze platform for me was the optimal way to start and synthesize my experience in this area. It seems to me that this is the very path I should take, the very opportunity that many of my peers have been waiting for all their lives...

Already has the status of "Artist" on the MAZE platform. Several NFTs have already been sold. MAZ.network/profile/bn1qka3gkgq7c6ukkmd6u2uvff8czqhuc23vu5gp70 Twitter: @bobertfoxton Telegram: @bob_ert

About Me

As a child I was a very active child and was always eager to learn new things. I have always had many hobbies: equestrianism, music, drawing, but only the world of art was able to impress to the core. And I stayed in this world, wanting to feel a part of it.

Impression of getting to know NFT

As I said earlier, everything is always interesting to me. I have been in the world of the crypto industry for a year now: investing and arbitrage. But always something special for me was the world of NFT. It is a cocktail of two things that interest me: cryptocurrency and art. But I didn't know which side to approach NFT from. A lot of hype projects, but not much real art. And here is an ideal option: a young platform MAZE, where you can realize yourself. A platform where you get noticed. Especially liked the test version of the platform, you can practice without risking anything. Now I am definitely ready to declare myself as an NFT artist, keeping up with the progress. After all, the crypto world is our future!

An application for obtaining the status of "Artist" on the MAZE platform has already been submitted. Telegram: @unopesoO MAZ.network/profile/bn1q8qjaattm2zzt9wddgw2wdp8y3hs8mh0srf4h3g
