What is trading?

Trading is like fishing, but instead of fish, you're catching money, and instead of a fishing rod, you're using your knowledge and strategies. But how can a beginner dive into this ocean of opportunities and not end up with empty pockets? 😭

How can a beginner make money?

Easy! Buy low and sell high. LOL. Sounds simple, but like juggling in a circus — you won’t realize how hard it is until you try. So start small — study the market, don’t risk everything at once, and don’t rush. Begin with the basics: a glossary and books, which I've compiled for you 👉 here

How to avoid losses?

Don’t bet everything. Stay calm. And remember: it’s more important to know when NOT to trade than when to enter a trade. As I and many experienced traders say, "Sitting on the sidelines is also part of the job" — don't jump into every bad opportunity, you'll stay safer 🚬.

Trading in crypto: features

In the crypto market, everything moves fast: today, Bitcoin is in space, tomorrow — it’s in the basement. Volatility here is like a children’s ride, but without the safety belt. So get ready for the rollercoaster — this is not the stock market.

Spot and futures:

  • Spot trading means buying and selling assets (for example, cryptocurrencies) with immediate settlement. You buy the asset at the current price and instantly own it. You can also set delayed orders for future prices, but we'll dive deeper into that later.
  • Futures trading is the trading of contracts that obligate you to buy or sell an asset at a predetermined price in the future. Futures allow you to speculate on prices without owning the asset, making them a more risky tool.

❗️ Be cautious. Don’t dive into every bad opportunity hoping to make quick money today, but if you really want to, and your hands are itching, just put a small portion (1-3% of your deposit) into it, and your trading won’t turn into one big "What the heck just happened?!"
