From the memories of the Pripyatians:
Vsevolod:
This movie was shoot filmed in Pripyat and I am a witness to that. But only the scene of the ball breaking the glass in the chemistry class and the march of the boys in the stadium of school No. 3 were filmed. Everything else was filmed in Kiev.
Kirill:
The first scenes are all shooted in Pripyat. The "nerd" report about how Columbus did not discover America was filmed in school №3, in the background in the frame you can see the houses of the fourth microdistrict of Pripyat. The scene with the mouse was filmed at school No. 2.
Irina:
Yes the shooting of the film took place in Pripyat. I was an extra in it for a few days. At first, the filming took place in my school No. 2, where the lower grades were. And then they filmed at school No. 3 on the sports ground, the scene where the window was smashed with the ball.

Mr White:
During the summer holidays, the shooting of the film "Men are men" took place. Мы как раз в футбол играли на поле в третьей школе. We were just playing soccer on the field at the third school, and they filmed a scene with some kind of drill song review. And then the glass had to be broken with a ball. So we helped. There are a couple of classmates in the movie too, one of them is the most red-headed one. And at the fourth school, they filmed scenes of classes. It was funny to watch - schoolchildren running down the corridor of the fourth school and running out into the street in Kiev.
