ABOUT NEET ENTRANCE EXAM

National Eligibility Entrance Exam (NEET-UG) is a competitive exam conducted by National Testing Agency(NTA). NEET is conducted for aspirants who are seeking admission in undergraduate MBBS and BDS courses all over India. Every year, candidates have to prepare for NEET-UG for pursuing a career in Medical Science. Before preparing for NEET, the candidate should be aware of the details of the exam. It is compulsory for getting BHMS direct admission.

AGE CRITERIA

The minimum age criteria for State Quota and All India Quota seats for aspirants for NEET-UG is 17 years. Earlier, the upper age limit was 25 years. But now students above 25 years can also take the NEET exam.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Candidate should be qualified in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology separately with a minimum of 50% aggregate for general category students.

NEET PREPARATION TIPS

Every year, the competition for exams keeps rising. Therefore, candidates have to come up with a strategy, for getting one seat. Candidates must plan the study, revise, and master the NCERT syllabus from 11th and 12th. Candidates should always aim high.

NEET-UG consists of 3 subjects- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. NEET exam has 180 multiple-choice questions(MCQ), and you have 3 hours to solve them. For each correct response, 4 marks will be awarded to candidates, and for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted. NEET is one of the toughest exams in the country. Each year, a huge number of candidates appear for NEET.
