Custom Furniture Production for Hôtel Gabriel on the French Riviera

In the heart of Menton, on the sunny French Riviera, the boutique hotel Hôtel Gabriel has opened — a place where every interior detail is carefully crafted. The furniture for this project was created by the CIVILLY French Riviera team, specialists in hotel projects and full-cycle implementation.

The project was commissioned by HES Corporation, a leading supplier of hotel furniture in France. Working closely with the client’s architects and the hotel owner’s architect, Civilly developed furniture that perfectly fits the interior concept and architectural features of the building.

The style chosen is the new wave of contemporary modernism: soft colors, rounded shapes, and a variety of textures. The furniture creates a cozy and modern atmosphere, highlighting the uniqueness of each room. The room categories — Lavande, Mimosa, Jasmin, and Camélia — differ in bed sizes, headboard textures, and color accents.

Civilly provided the full cycle: design, production, logistics, and installation. All work was completed ahead of schedule to ensure the hotel opened in time for the Lemon Festival, demonstrating the team’s high professionalism.

The project’s complexity included unique room layouts, integration of furniture into niches, and adaptation to construction imperfections. Furniture was delivered disassembled, carefully labeled, and assembled on-site, even with narrow staircases and non-operational lifts.

Despite logistical challenges, police checks, and tight deadlines, the project was completed successfully. The hotel owners and guests highly appreciated the furniture’s quality, comfort, and the overall atmosphere of the interiors.
