First concert in Kazakhstan set for Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez will take the stage in Astana on August 1, with a follow-up concert scheduled for August 10 in Almaty. The Almaty show will wrap up her dazzling international tour Up All Night: Live in 2025. Audiences can look forward to a blend of legendary hits and new tracks from her 2024 release This Is Me... Now, the driving force behind the entire tour.

According to Malik Khasanov of “Astana Concert,” the organizers are planning a rich cultural experience for the star, including a photoshoot in traditional Kazakh attire and a tasting of the national dish beshbarmak. This marks the first time Kazakhstan has been included in Lopez’s touring history—adding a unique stop to her global schedule.

This Is Me... Now is Jennifer’s ninth studio album and a spiritual successor to her 2002 classic This Is Me... Then, which featured the mega-hit Jenny from the Block. That album was a love letter to then-fiancé Ben Affleck. Though their engagement ended, and both pursued other relationships—Lopez with Marc Anthony and later Alex Rodriguez, Affleck with his own ups and downs—their story was far from over.
