Formula 1 Returns to Azerbaijan in September

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is set to take place in Baku from September 19 to 21, 2025, at the urban “Baku City Circuit.” This event will serve as the 17th round of the Formula 1 World Championship. Introduced to the Formula 1 calendar in recent years, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix made its debut in 2016 as the European Grand Prix. Held on the streets of Baku, the circuit left an immediate impression with its combination of lengthy straights and narrow, intricate turns through the old town. The very first race proved Baku's potential: Nico Rosberg claimed a dominant win, but the action behind was filled with intensity and overtakes. It didn’t take long for Baku to become a permanent fixture in Formula 1.
