Tickets for the VVO49 volleyball session of the 2024 Olympics

The VV049 men's volleyball medal session of the Olympic Games will be held on 9 August. A bronze medal will be awarded to the winners.

There will be 6 teams competing in the men's volleyball tournament in Paris: USA, Japan, Germany, Brazil, Poland and Canada. They qualified for the men's volleyball qualifying tournament, which took place from 30 September to 8 October in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 24 teams participated in the tournament and were divided into 3 groups. From each group, two winners were selected to go to Paris.

The competition will be held in two stages: round robin and playoffs. Tickets for the VVO49 volleyball session of the 2024 Olympics are on sale now.

At the moment, the Polish national team is ranked first in the world volleyball ranking. Also good results were shown by the German national team, winning all 7 matches. It should be noted that the German national team has not participated in the Olympics since 2012.

Recall that in 2020, gold was won by the French team, silver went to Russia, and bronze went to athletes from Argentina.

The most frequent winners include representatives of the United States, Brazil, the Netherlands, Russia and Italy.

Volleyball was included in the Olympic programme in 1964 and has been a regular presence at the Olympics ever since. However, it first appeared at the Olympics in 1924 as a demonstration sport. Volleyball is played in two categories: men and women.
