Market Analyst / Senior Market Analyst (Fertilizers, Coal), EuroChem Group
The EuroChem Group is a leading global producer of nitrogen, phosphate and potash fertilizers, as well as certain industrial and mining products. EuroChem is vertically integrated with activities spanning from mining to fertilizer production, logistics, and distribution. The Group operates production facilities in Europe, Asia and the CIS, employing more than 27,000 people. In 2019 EuroChem sold more than 23.6 million tons of finished products, generating a turnover of around USD 6.2 bn and USD 1.5 bn of EBITDA.
Commercial Strategy and Investments department is a key Unit within the Commercial Division. Its teams are responsible for all medium and long-term strategies that cover the markets (incl. optimal market access), products, industries and customer groups. They are also responsible to identify, screen, evaluate, value, propose and execute Commercial investments in collaboration with the respective asset experts and other functions of the Group. The Unit reports to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Job Responsibilities
• Gathering and developing commercial insights, using sources inside and out-side EuroChem
• Develop and communicate business results and drivers for internal and external reporting
• Develop marketing strategies and recommendations based on analysis produced
• Processing of local and global market intelligence into strategic and investment insights
• Modelling of assortment and volume of finished goods to be sold on the global market
• Formulating tasks to the data scientists for scenariomodelling of the influence of changes in certain factors (e.g. production, assortment, logistics, technologies, competitors, legislation, etc.) and further usage of modelling results in decision-making process of EuroChem

Success in the role requires business and commercial acumen and a strategic mindset, exceptional communication and presentation skills, ability to work seamlessly with leaders at multiple levels in the organization, and the skills and tenacity to achieve results without formal authority.
In addition, successful candidate should have the following qualifications, experience, and skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science or Engineering, with a quantitative background preferred.
• Proven current experience in analyzing global fertilizers / coal markets.
• Able to demonstrate working knowledge of developing supply/demand outlooks and other analytical experience surrounding global markets.
• Strong teamwork skills with a track record of delivering results in a cross-functional, non-hierarchical, and cross-cultural environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, in particular the ability to convey messages concisely in both text format and presentation format to busy executives.
• Must have fluency in written and spoken English
