Senior Software Engineer (PHP, TypeScript, Node.js)

REMOTE EMEA

Location: Remote within EMEA (office option in Riga)

Printful builds on-demand commerce infrastructure and technology at global scale.

Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-quality backend software aligned with engineering best practices.
Own complex technical initiatives end-to-end: design, implementation, monitoring, debugging, and continuous optimization.
Improve engineering standards to increase code quality and maintainability.
Design and optimize distributed systems, cloud-native services, and scalable data pipelines.
Increase system reliability using monitoring, observability, automated health checks, and alerting.
Mentor engineers via code reviews, technical guidance, onboarding, and knowledge sharing.

EMEA-based experience building and operating production software in modern product engineering environments.
Strong fundamentals and experience designing scalable, distributed systems.
Deep understanding of data architectures and building reliable, scalable data pipelines.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems (messaging, distributed storage, infrastructure automation).
Strong observability/monitoring/debugging skills for operating production systems at scale.
Ability to independently solve complex problems and make technical trade-offs with customer and business outcomes in focus.
