Web Developer (PHP)

KobGames Studios develops and delivers a large number of games each month.

What you will do

• Maintain and extend in-house systems used to analyze the market and improve games.
• Identify and implement features for gathering and maintaining market and game intelligence.
• Work with a large, existing codebase and apply software development best practices.
• Collaborate with the team to analyze requirements and solve technical problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of extensive PHP experience.
• Experience with an MVC framework and an ORM.
• Extensive knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Experience with version control, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Comfort working with a large existing codebase and following development best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience gathering data from various sources through APIs and crawlers.
• Experience building integrations with third-party software such as Slack and Discord.
