Forward Deployed Engineer (Python)
Location: Remote (Global), with 20-30% travel required for customer onsite engagements

What you will do
- Serve as the primary technical advisor and expert for 5-8 enterprise accounts.
- Write custom Python code, scripts, and integrations to solve complex customer implementation challenges.
- Develop tailored SAST rules, CVE rules, and security policies for customer environments.
- Lead technical onboarding sessions, training workshops, and provide hands-on implementation guidance.
- Coordinate technical rollouts and integrations across complex enterprise environments.
- Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for internal product teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with strong coding skills in Python.
- Proven track record building integrations, APIs, and webhook implementations in production.
- Strong understanding of modern development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Ability to travel 20-30% for on-site customer engagements.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to explain complex technical concepts.
- Experience with open source ecosystems and supply chain security concepts.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of security tools, vulnerability management, and software composition analysis (SCA).
- Experience with scripting and automation specifically for DevOps or security use cases.
