Staff Site Reliability Engineer (AI Platform)
Location: Hybrid in Barcelona, Spain. Relocation support is provided for the employee and their family.

What you will do
- Maintain and harden AWS infrastructure, including EC2, ALB/NLB, WAF, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Operate EKS clusters powering Python-based AI services and migrate existing services using Terraform and Helm.
- Codify infrastructure with Terraform and manage host-level automation via Ansible.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Own observability efforts with Prometheus and Grafana, including alerting and on-call readiness.
- Partner with engineers to drive platform reliability and create maintainable infrastructure documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing Linux (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux) in production.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes (ideally EKS), Helm, and Terraform.
- Comfort running and debugging Python workloads in containers.
- Solid understanding of networking, IAM, and cloud security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Nginx Ingress and reverse proxy setups.
- Must be based in or be able to relocate to Barcelona, Spain.
Nice to have
- Advanced Ansible skills beyond the basics.
- PostgreSQL or Amazon RDS tuning and operations experience.
- Deep understanding of observability tools like Loki.
- Familiarity with PHP production environments.
- Experience with TDD, CI/CD best practices, and agile development.
