What you will do

  • Define and own the long-term QA strategy for the studio.
  • Lead, support, and develop an existing team of experienced QA professionals.
  • Establish scalable QA processes to support multiple teams and projects.
  • Manage relationships with external QA providers and outsourcing partners.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and DevOps to identify quality risks and align automation priorities.
  • Oversee release readiness for Early Access, launch, and future projects.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in games QA or software quality engineering.
  • 3+ years in a QA leadership role, having led teams through at least one release.
  • Proven experience mentoring senior QA Engineers and scaling QA organizations.
  • Strong understanding of QA strategy throughout the full development lifecycle.
  • Experience managing external QA vendors and outsourcing partners.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on practical involvement.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Unreal Engine.
  • Experience supporting games through Early Access or full launch.
  • Background in PC and/or console development environments.
  • Experience testing player-facing tools or creator-facing technology.
