What you will do

• Develop backend services using Node.js and Express, integrating internal and external APIs.
• Manage and optimize databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL.
• Implement security best practices and ensure performance under heavy traffic.
• Experiment with new technologies and stay current with web development trends.
• Build advanced accessibility features to ensure usability for all users.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of strong backend development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, ES6+, RESTful APIs (GraphQL bonus).
• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Mental flexibility, attention to detail, curiosity, and comfort with complex technical challenges.
• Open to all nationalities and genders.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Java or Python.
• Experience with Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions).
• Familiarity with accessibility testing tools like Lighthouse or Axe.
