Staff React/React Native Engineer
Location: Hybrid or remote within Bulgaria, Germany, Poland, Romania, or Spain.

What you will do
- Lead the technical direction of a key frontend domain across mobile and web throughout the product lifecycle.
- Drive the architecture of the shared React Native monorepo to improve efficiency and performance.
- Lead and mentor a compact, autonomous, cross-functional team.
- Take a holistic approach to problem-solving, balancing business goals, UX constraints, and platform limitations.
- Build for performance, accessibility, and resilience across a wide range of devices.
- Drive improvements in product and engineering quality across the frontend organization.
Requirements
- Experience leading the development and release of complex, high-demand client-facing frontend products.
- Proven track record in leading, coaching, and mentoring software engineers.
- Deep expertise in TypeScript and React Native or React/Next.js.
- Advanced knowledge of state management patterns like TanStack Query, Zustand, or Redux.
- Strong understanding of cross-platform frontend challenges including performance optimization, rendering, and animations.
- Experience designing scalable frontend solutions.
Nice to have
- Experience with monorepo structures and shared component systems.
- Experience with native mobile development (Swift/Kotlin).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling at scale.
- Experience with Reanimated/RNGH for complex animations.
- Experience with WebSockets or real-time data patterns.
