Ruby Engineer (Fintech)
Location: Must be based in Europe (Remote)

JustMarkets is a financial trading platform provider.
What you will do
- Develop backend features, including payment system integrations and anti-money laundering (AML) modules.
- Build AI tools for Customer Support and optimize Customer Acquisition flows.
- Create and maintain APIs for integration with the trading platform.
- Contribute to technical architecture and design while optimizing overall product performance.
- Perform code reviews, provide production support, and write comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Participate in Scrum and OKR planning and retrospectives.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional Ruby development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails 6+, design patterns, basic algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience designing scalable web applications.
- Expertise with databases including MySQL, Postgres, and Redis.
- Proven ability to write unit and integration tests.
- Must be based in Europe.
Nice to have
- Experience in the fintech industry.
- Knowledge of service architecture and RabbitMQ.
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Frontend skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience integrating third-party payment providers.
