Frontend Platform Engineer (Vue)

What you will do

  • Own and evolve core frontend platform primitives to ensure the workflow builder is scalable and maintainable.
  • Architect the canvas-based building experience and implement real-time collaboration using WebSockets and CRDTs.
  • Optimize rendering performance and runtime behavior for complex, high-performance user interfaces.
  • Strengthen platform contracts, plugin systems, and overall frontend developer experience (DX).
  • Drive technical decisions through RFCs and collaborate with product engineers, QA, and the open-source community.

Requirements

  • Experience building architecture-heavy frontend products such as canvas tools, collaborative editors, or real-time applications.
  • Strong expertise in TypeScript and a deep understanding of performance measurement and profiling.
  • Proven track record of owning meaningful frontend systems, leading migrations, or re-architecting complex product areas.
  • Must be based in or have the right to work in Europe or the US.
  • English: B2+ proficiency required as it is the company's primary language.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with CRDTs, multiplayer systems, or real-time communication layers.
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source software.
  • Previous work on workflow engines, developer tools, or infrastructure-adjacent SaaS.
