What you will do

• Design and implement a shared core layer utilized across desktop, mobile, and backend platforms.
• Contribute to architectural decisions involving CRDT and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and backend engineers to integrate Rust components.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Senior-level proficiency in Rust.
• Experience with distributed systems and CRDT.
• Strong product mindset and ability to handle complex system design.
• Openness to relocating to New Zealand is a significant plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with other languages such as Python or C++.
