What are the nodes for?

Projects that want to enter the market must test their blockchain for errors and make the network stable, for this we launch nodes.

What are nodes?

Nodes are computers that are scattered all over the planet and work with each other on the basis of the same software. They are necessary for the successful functioning of any network, since no blockchain can exist without nodes.

What is a testnet?

A testnet is a period during which the project team tests its network. We are currently raising a node in the testnet and maintaining the blockchain in working condition. For this, we need to rent a server and put a node on it.

What is Mainnet?

After the end of the testnet, the project goes to the mainnet.

The mainnet is a ready-to-use network that processes real-world cryptocurrency transactions. At this stage, the project coin already has a certain value.

Costs and time frames?

Our costs include:

- Time spent on node support
- The money we spend on server rent

Support:

Installing software on your rented server. Daily checking of its operation, presence of errors, installation of updates, etc.

Money:

There is no single price for renting a server, because servers with different capacities are needed for each project. Some server may cost $5/month, some $15/month, and some $30 or $100/month. All this can be found out in advance in the guides for installing each node.

How long should the node be kept?

There is no answer here, since only the developers can announce the end of the testnet. But, on average, we invest 3-6 months. There are projects where it was necessary to support a node for more than a year, and there are also those where the entire event lasted less than a month.

What amount is needed to start?

Nodes is a story about minimal investment and big profit if the project shoots. The perfect risk/reward ratio.

The costs go only to the servers, so you can get a server for $5/month and put some light projects on it.
